SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–BCG continues to give Phillipsburg the benefit of the doubt in regards to the top spot in the latest Hunterdon-Warren County Top 10. After losing its opener at home to state power, St. Joe’s-Montvale, the Stateliners gave Hillsborough all it could handle on the road without its starting QB before losing in overtime, 21-14. Warren Hills moved up to No. 3 after its win at South Plainfield, a team it lost to last season. North Hunterdon moved up to No. 4 after taking Cranford to overtime and losing in a heartbreaker (43-37). South Hunterdon moved up to 7th after edging Belvidere. Current records in parenthesis.
