SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–Week Seven of the 2021 Union County High School Football season showed some changes at the top. Union remains atop the poll with Cranford right behind at No. 2. Both the Farmers and Cougars scored important wins on Friday night with Union shutting out North Brunswick (No. 2 in Middlesex County, and No. 5 overall) and Cranford outlasting then Middlesex No. 1 Woodbridge (38-28). Chaos takes place starting at No. 3 with Hillside moving up while Summit drops following the Hilltoppers loss to Warren Hills (20-13) at home while the Comets edged Delaware Valley (21-19) in a thriller. New Providence moved up to No. 4 while Westfield returned to the poll at No. 8. Current record in parenthesis.
