BCG’s Week Ten Middlesex County Top 10

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–There weren’t many changes to this week’s Big Central Gridiron Middlesex County Top 10. St. Thomas Aquinas stayed atop the poll despite the fact it was idle. Woodbridge, Sayreville, Colonia, and North Brunswick all stayed at spots two through five despite the Barrons shutout loss to Ridge (38-0).

The most significant change to the rankings was Edison moving up to No. 6 this week after its hard fought win on the road at second seeded Manalapan (23-20) in the South Jersey Group 5 playoffs last Friday. Old Bridge and East Brunswick also lost, which helped the Eagles as well. South Brunswick moved back into the poll at No. 10. Current records in parenthesis.

  1. St. Thomas Aquinas (9-0)
  2. Woodbridge (7-3)
  3. Sayreville (8-2)
  4. Colonia (8-2)
  5. North Brunswick (7-3)
  6. Edison (7-3)
  7. Old Bridge (6-4)
  8. East Brunswick (8-2)
  9. St. Joseph’s (3-6)
  10. South Brunswick (4-5)

Other teams considered: New Brunswick (4-6) and Monroe (4-6).
