SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–Week Ten saw no changes whatsoever to the BCG Somerset County Top 10. The top four teams: Hillsborough, Somerville, Ridge, and Bernards all won while No. 7 Immaculata was idle. No. 5 Bridgewater-Raritan’s season came to an end with a heartbreaking double overtime loss to Paterson Eastside in the opening round of the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2 Group 5 playoffs at Basilone Field.
North Plainfield lost its final game of the season to Parsippany Hills (21-13) while Bound Brook took 4th ranked Bernards to the limit before falling (28-27) at Olcott Field in the opening round of the Central Jersey Group 2 Playoffs. Manville lost at Belvidere (19-6) while Montgomery lost to top seeded Northern Highlands in the opening round of the North Jersey Section 1 Group 4 Playoffs. Current records in parenthesis.
