SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—Sectional Championship Weekend is here and once again Big Central Gridiron will be in the thick of it with coverage of games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. BCG will be covering the Central Jersey Group 5 Championship on Friday night and the Non-Public A Semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
Big Central Gridiron will first be at David A. Noonan Memorial Stadium in Hillsborough on Friday night to see the top ranked and top seeded Hillsborough Raiders host the 3rd seeded North Brunswick Raiders in a rematch of a Week 9 contest won by Hillsborough (41-0) on October 29th.
On Saturday, BCG will take in some non-conference action with a trip up to North Jersey and Oradell in Bergen County where top seeded Bergen Catholic will be taking on fourth seeded St. Peter’s Prep in the Non-Public A Semifinals. BCG returns to Oradell, where it was on Thanksgiving Weekend 2020 covering the season finale between the Crusaders and Marauders.
Previews for both sectional finals involving BCC teams including the Central Jersey Group 5 Championship and the North Jersey Section 2 Group 3 Championship as well as one for the NJSIAA Non-Public A Semifinal contest between Bergen Catholic and St. Peter’s Prep will be posted shortly.
