SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–The 2022 New Jersey High School and Big Central Conference football season is approaching its conclusion with the final three BCC games scheduled on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day. Despite its loss to West Orange in the North Jersey Section 2 Group 5 sectional championship, Phillipsburg remains atop this poll thanks to its head to head with over North Hunterdon (48-21), its unblemished record in the Big Central, and finishing first in the BCC’s toughest division, American National.
