SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–The 2022 New Jersey High School and Big Central Conference football season is approaching its conclusion with the final three BCC games scheduled on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day. Although it lost to Old Tappan in the North Jersey Section 1 Group 3 Championship (28-14), Hillside still finished atop the Union County Top 10 with only one loss in BCC play (to St. Thomas Aquinas 17-7 on September 30th). David Brearley moves up to 4th thanks to its finals appearance in the North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 Championship. Current records in parenthesis.
