SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—Week 13 brings the traditional Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day games along with Non-Public Championships on Black Friday at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands. Big Central Gridiron will be covering two of the three BCC holiday clashes and providing updates.
BCG will be wrapping up its 2022 coverage with these two games. Big Central Gridiron will be at Arminio Field on Thanksgiving Eve to see the hometown Roselle Rams take on traditional rival, Roselle Park. Then, on Thanksgiving Day, BCG heads out to Kehler Stadium in Westfield for the annual clash between the 10th ranked Blue Devils and Plainfield.
November 23, 2022 – Roselle Park @ Roselle
On Thanksgiving Eve, Big Central Gridiron will be heading out to Roselle to cover its annual holiday contest against Roselle Park. The Rams are riding high after defeating Bordentown (29-27) and then Haddon Heights (40-39) on the road to win the South Jersey Group 2 Invitational Tournament title.
November 24, 2022 – Plainfield @ Westfield
Then, on Thanksgiving Day, Big Central Gridiron will travel out to Kehler Stadium in Westfield for the annual holiday clash between the Blue Devils and the Cardinals of Plainfield. Plainfield is coming off a North Jersey Group 5 Invitational Tournament final win over Bloomfield (48-8) while Westfield suffered a heartbreaking defeat at Union City in the North Jersey Section 1 Group 5 semifinals.
