Top Five in Somerset County Remains the Same
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The top five in BCG’s Somerset County remains the same this week. Ridge remains the top-ranked team in the poll after its 35-0 win over South Brunswick in Week 6. Ridge’s only loss was a 21-14 defeat to Phillipsburg on the road at Maloney Stadium in Week 2. Montgomery comes in again at No. 2 following a 49-6 victory at North Hunterdon last week.
Hillsborough continues to roll following its win over Phillipsburg in the Rumble on the Raritan last month. The Raiders came from behind to defeat Hunterdon Central on the road (19-13) last Friday night. Watchung Hills got itself back on the winning track with a come-from-behind victory at Plainfield last Saturday afternoon. Bernards rolled past Bound Brook (47-7) to remain undefeated at 7-0. The current records are in parentheses.
