Bernards Finishes 2023 as the No. 1 Team in Somerset County
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Despite losing to Westwood in the 2023 NJSIAA North Jersey Group 2 Regional Championship, Bernards finished 2023 as the No. 1 team in Somerset County according to Big Central Gridiron.
Not only were the Mountaineers the only Big Central team to win a sectional championship, but they also won the most games in school history. Bernards also set numerous team and individual records during its 2023 campaign. The current records are in parentheses.
