St. Thomas Aquinas Begins 2024 as BCG’s No. 1 in Middlesex County
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas will begin the 2024 season where it left off in 2023 as the top team in Middlesex County. The Trojans have 1,000-yard rusher Chase Young back as well as junior QB Roman Blanks. Freshman Zymere Weaver also has a lot of potential.
Aquinas will be moving up to the Big Central Conference’s National Silver Division, where it will be competing with the likes of Middlesex County public school powerhouses such as North Brunswick, Sayreville, and Edison. St. Joseph’s will be looking to contend for the top spot as well with the likes of Javon Hudson and Ashton Irving returning.
Piscataway and Woodbridge will be looking to make the leap into contention for Middlesex County top honors. Jahai Johnson is a playmaker, which gives the Chiefs’ attack a spark not only on offense but also special teams as well. Derek and Brian Anderson will be leading Woodbridge under new head coach Joe Goerge.
