More Key Divisional Match-Ups Highlight Week 3 Slate
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – On Thursday night, the 2024 New Jersey High School Football resumes with its slate of Week 3 contests involving teams from the Big Central Conference. There are two Thursday night games this week. Dunellen will be hosting Belvidere in a BCC Freedom Silver clash while New Providence hosts upstart Metuchen in a BCC Patriot Silver showdown.
Most of the BCC games will be played on Friday with only two contests on Thursday night and just three on Saturday. The three games on Saturday include a BCC United Gold contest between Summit and Carteret, the annual neighborhood rivalry between South River and Spotswood with both playing in the BCC’s Freedom Gold, and Woodbridge and Colonia going at it for Woodbridge Township and BCC Liberty Gold bragging rights.
On Friday, several key divisional match-ups will highlight the schedule. First and foremost, Phillipsburg will travel to play Ridge in a crucial BCC American Silver clash from Lee Field. Next, St. Joseph’s heads up Route 1-9 North to Elizabeth to take on the Minutemen in a BCC American Gold clash from Williams Field. Old Bridge visits South Brunswick in an important BCC National Gold contest from Mike Elko Field in Monmouth Junction. Piscataway visits Ridgewood in a Non-Conference clash up in Bergen County.
Big Central Gridiron plans to be in Lambertville on Friday night for the BCC Freedom Silver clash between Bound Brook and South Hunterdon. On Saturday, BCG looks to head out to Investors Bank Field at Tatlock Park in Summit for the clash between the hometown Hilltoppers and Carteret. Below is the Big Central Conference Week 3 Schedule.
