Despite a heartbreaking loss to Paramus Catholic in overtime last Friday night, St. Thomas Aquinas remains undefeated in the Big Central Conference and remains atop the latest Big Central Gridiron Top 10.

Aquinas Remains atop the Latest BCG Top 10

In preparation for Week 6, Big Central Gridiron put together its latest top ten following Week 4 play.  Despite its 35-34 OT loss at Paramus Catholic on Friday night, the Trojans of St. Thomas Aquinas remained atop the latest BCG Top 10 with a 4-2 overall mark.

The Trojans remain undefeated in the Big Central Conference at 3-0 including an unblemished 2-0 mark in the BCC’s National Silver Division. Aquinas has outscored its opponents by a margin of 236 to 119, or by an average of 39 to 20 per game. In BCC games, Aquinas has outscored its foes by a margin of 123 to 20 or by an average of 41 to 7 per contest.

Unbeaten Somerville, St. Joseph’s, and Bernards also remain in the next three spots while Ridge stays in 5th. The BCG Top 10 didn’t change much at all this week except for its final two spots.  Watchung Hills moved up to eighth while Hillsborough and Bridgewater-Raritan finished out the poll at No. 9 and No. 10 respectively. Four of the five teams in the BCC’s American Silver are in the latest Top 10. Latest records in parenthesis:
