St. Thomas Aquinas Remains No. 1 in Middlesex County
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – After defeating third-ranked St. Joseph’s in a BCC Non-Public showdown on Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans stay atop of the latest BCG Middlesex County Top Ten.
Although the Trojans have lost two games overall, they have yet to lose in Big Central Conference play. Aquinas is in first place in the BCC’s National Silver Division standings heading into Friday night’s match-up at home versus Sayreville.
However, Woodbridge is not too far behind. The second-ranked Barrons are undefeated and clinched their second straight BCC Liberty Gold Championship several weeks ago. Woodbridge defeated a Summit team last week that rolled past it in the early part of the 2023 season, and now has another chance to prove itself when it hosts St. Joseph’s on Friday night.
