SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Following its one-score loss at Ridge in Week 3, Phillipsburg has been on a tear. The Stateliners have improved to 6-1 overall and remain atop the latest Big Central Gridiron Hunterdon-Warren Top 10.
Over its last four games, Phillipsburg has been averaging 39 points per contest. During that stretch, the Stateliners have defeated Hillsborough, St. Joseph’s, West Orange, and Union. Meanwhile, Delaware Valley has one of the stingiest defenses in the BCC and also has a very potent offense as well.
Led by junior QB Kelton Ibach, the Terriers have a prolific passing attack with targets such as Eric Klemmer, Ben Cobb, Will Weckesser, and Will Fritsch. Another BCC West Jersey team on the rise is Belvidere. The Seaters have won seven straight and lead the conference in shutouts with five.
