Several More Teams Still Left to Cover as Season Nears an End
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – We are moving into the final few weeks of the 2024 New Jersey High School Football season. The NJSIAA Regional Finals/State Semifinals take place this coming weekend. Somerville and Phillipsburg are the two remaining schools from the Big Central Conference that are still alive in the playoffs and will both be competing for their first regional championships on Friday night.
Coming into this week, Big Central Gridiron has covered a total of 37 games (varsity and sub-varsity). In the 25 varsity games seen, BCG has seen a total of 36 different schools from the BCC. Seven of those teams were seen at least two times. BCG covered at least one team from each of the five counties that make up the Big Central Conference (Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset, Union, and Warren). See the list of teams below.
