SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—We are now heading toward the final few games of the season. Phillipsburg and Somerville will play in NJSIAA Regional Championships/State Semifinals this coming Friday night. Phillipsburg will host Ramapo in the North Jersey Group 4 Regional Final/State Semifinal while Somerville will host Mainland Regional in the South Jersey Group 3 Regional Final/State Semifinal.
Next week there will be three Thanksgiving Day Games involving several Big Central Conference schools. Big Central Gridiron will be covering two of the three games involving BCC schools. BCG will cover the lone game on Thanksgiving Eve and one of the two games on Thanksgiving Day.
First, Big Central Gridiron will travel out to Arminio Field in Roselle on Thanksgiving Eve, where the Rams will host neighborhood rival, Roselle Park starting at 6:00 PM. Then, on Thanksgiving morning, BCG will head up to Kehler Stadium in Westfield for the annual rivalry game between the Blue Devils and arch-rival Plainfield.
BCG will also be following social media for updates on the Phillipsburg-Easton game at Lafayette College on Thanksgiving Day. The game will be broadcast on local television. As soon as we get word on where the link to the game’s livestream, we will post it here.
