Somerville Pioneers – Big Central Conference (2020-2024) 

The Somerville Pioneers won their first sectional title since 2017 when it defeated Delsea in the Central Jersey Group 3 Championship Game (24-6) at Brooks Field last Friday night. This season, Somerville has now won a third of all of its games over the past five years.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – In preparation for Somerville’s match-up with Mainland Regional in the South Jersey Group 3 state semifinals on Friday night, Big Central Gridiron takes a look at the Pioneers during their first five seasons of the Big Central Conference.  Somerville is enjoying its best season since the formation of the BCC in 2020.   This season, the Pioneers have won a third of all the games they’ve won over the past five seasons.
