2024 BCG Season Rewind – BCC American Gold

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Before we begin the 2025 New Jersey High School football season, let’s take a quick look back at the 2024 campaign.  Next stop on the tour is the Big Central Conference’s American Gold Division, won by St. Joseph’s followed by Westfield and Elizabeth.

The Falcons, led by the quartet of QB Justin Scaramuzzo, RB/LB Javon Hudson, WRs Ashton Irving and Jacob Pappas, rolled to an unblemished 3-0 record for a first-place finish.  Meanwhile, the Blue Devils endured an up-and-down season, but still managed to finish 2nd in the division and qualify for the state playoffs.  Meanwhile, Elizabeth had a bit of a roller coaster ride in 2024, but ended up the most improved team in the division with the best overall record at 6-5.
