The Cranford Cougars lost key contributors to their passing game from a year ago, but they are still looking to contend for the BCC’s United Gold Division title.

Strengths:Veteran running backs and offensive line and defensive leadership.
Areas of Concern:Inexperience at QB and WR as well as a very competitive BCC United Gold.
OutlookFinishing 2nd to Summit in the always competitive BCC United Gold, Cranford qualified for the playoffs and reached the NJSIAA North 2 Group 3 Semifinals before losing to state champion, Old Tappan.  The Cougars lost several key players at skilled positions to graduation, but still have a veteran offensive line and running backs as well as key players in leadership positions on defense.  The Cougars will need a way to overcome inexperience in the passing game and a tough schedule consisting mostly of an always competitive BCC United Gold.
