BCG’s Union County Top 10 – Pre-Season 2025

The Union Farmers will be looking to improve upon their 2-8 record in 2024 under the direction of new head coach, Barris Grant.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – After a tough luck season in 2023, and a bit of a roller coaster ride in 2024, the Elizabeth Minutemen led by head coach, Eugene Kline and standout QB A’rique Fleming, are looking forward to putting together a solid run for the BCC American Gold Division title and gets BCG’s top spot in the 2025 Union County Pre-Season Top 10.

Rahway also looks to contend for Union County’s top spot this year. After a 7-3 campaign that ended with a tough loss at Ridge in the opening round of the 2024 North Jersey Section 1 Group 4 playoffs, the Indians return a ton of talent, including standout running back Andrew Avent. Plainfield lost a significant amount of talent from a year ago, but still has QB Kamai Lowery and WR Tymir Huff.

Westfield, Summit, and Cranford also look to have squads that figure to be somewhere in the Union County Top 10 during the course of the season. All three programs are usually among the elite in this corner of the Big Central Conference, and the 2025 season should be no different.
