Rivalry at a Glance – Delaware Valley vs. Voorhees

On Friday night, Delaware Valley will host Voorhees in the 41st all-time meeting between the two schools. The all-time series is tied at 20-20-0 with Del Val winning 13 of the last 15 games since 2007.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – On Friday night, Big Central Gridiron will take its first-ever trip out to Frenchtown and Tap Webb Memorial Field on the campus of Delaware Valley High School for the Big Central Conference Patriot Gold Division clash between the hometown Terriers of Delaware Valley and the Voorhees Vikings.  Both teams are chasing division-leading Bernards, which is 2-0 and plays J.P. Stevens at Olcott Field in Bernardsville on Friday night.

This will be the 41st all-time meeting between the two schools.  Delaware Valley won the very first meeting between the two schools in 1976.  The series is now tied at 20-20-0 after Del Val has won 17 of the last 22 meetings since 1999.  Voorhees won 15 of the first 18 meetings.  Since the formation of the Big Central Conference in 2020, the Terriers have won every meeting.  The Vikings last won in 2018.
