BCG’s Somerset County Top 10 – September 28, 2025

The Ridge Red Devils return to the top spot in the latest BCG Somerset County Top 10 after upsetting Bridgewater-Raritan at Lee Field last Friday night.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – There have been quite a few surprises around Somerset County in 2025. The latest one occurred on Friday night when Ridge upended Bridgewater-Raritan at Lee Field in Basking Ridge. The win vaulted the Red Devils to the top of the Somerset County heap for now.

Bridgewater-Raritan fell to No. 2, but the Panthers remain formidable, especially when they get healthy again. Bernards sits at No. 3 after winning its sixth BCC division title with its 39-0 win over J.P. Stevens. Montgomery is right behind at No. 4 following a 36-7 victory over Watchung Hills.

Somerville comes in fifth this week following wins over Rahway and Hillside in its last two outings. Despite losing many key players to graduation following a stellar season in 2024, the Pioneers have proven to be quite resilient so far in 2025 at 4-1.
