BCG’s Union County Top 10 – September 28, 2025

Although returning QB Cole Sabol hasn’t taken a snap yet this year, the Summit Hilltoppers are off to a 5-0 start this season and own the top spot in this week’s BCG Union County Top 10.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – This week’s BCG Union County Top 10 appears to indicate a lot of mediocrity, but there are a lot of competitive teams in this part of the Big Central Conference. Summit has separated itself from the rest of the pack with a strong 5-0 start as it heads into the toughest portion of its schedule.

Rahway comes in at No. 2 in this week’s poll with a 3-1 mark in conference play following a 33-0 victory at North Hunterdon. The Indians’ only losses have come to Somerville two weeks ago, and out of conference versus Willingboro in Week 0.

Elizabeth came into the season with a lot of promise, but after a stellar opening week win over neighborhood rival Linden, the Minutemen have lost three of four games, including a 35-21 defeat on the road at St. Thomas Aquinas this past Friday.
