BCG’s NJSIAA State Tourney Picks – First Round – October 31 – November 1, 2025

Hillsborough travels to Burlington County to take on Rancocas Valley in a rematch of their semifinal round playoff game a year ago on Friday night.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – On Friday night, state playoff competition will commence with first-round games in the various NJSIAA public school tournaments.  The schools from the Big Central Conference will be competing in either the North Jersey Section 2 or the Central Jersey sectionals.  

Big Central Gridiron plans to cover several of these games.  On Friday evening, BCG will journey over to Basilone Field in Bridgewater to some of the action between top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan and No. 8 Linden in North Jersey Section 2 Group 5.  

Then, BCG will head up to Lee Field to cover the remainder of the contest between No. 4 Ridge and No. 5 Colonia in North Jersey Section 2 Group 4.  Finally, on Saturday afternoon, Big Central Gridiron plans to visit Lieder Field to take in the North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 opening round game between the 3rd-seeded New Providence and 6th-seeded Secaucus.
