St. Thomas Aquinas RB Elijah Abass-Shereef rushed for over 100 yards and scored twice in the Trojans 44-20 win at Summit. The victory helped STA move up a notch in the latest BCG Top 10.
Summit moves up to the second spot in the latest BCG Union County Top 10 thanks to a no-huddle offense that is averaging 46 points per game.
Running back Xavier Moore graduated from Phillipsburg in June, but BCG feels the Stateliners have plenty of firepower back to earn the top spot in the Pre-Season Top 10.
Hillsborough defeated Phillipsburg in an OT thriller at Noonan Field two years ago. The Raiders and Stateliners will meet again in the Rumble on the Raritan at SHI Stadium in Piscataway on September 24th.
