Somerville will be playing in its first sectional final since 2019. The Pioneers will be hosting their first sectional championship since 2018, and looking to win its first sectional crown since 2017. The Ville will be hosting a Delsea team that is a powerhouse program from South Jersey that has made a spirited run through the playoffs.
Phillipsburg is the other top-seeded teams from the Big Central Conference in the state tournament. The Stateliners suffered a tough loss at Ridge earlier in the year, but have rebounded nicely since.
Somerville is one of only two top-seeded teams from the Big Central Conference in the state tournament. Led by the likes of Josh Rodriguez, the Pioneers are 9-0 and playing their best football in four seasons.

Despite a heartbreaking loss to Paramus Catholic in overtime last Friday night, St. Thomas Aquinas remains undefeated in the Big Central Conference and remains atop the latest Big Central Gridiron Top 10.
