David Brearley and Jonathan Dayton battled it out until the final play of the game in their season finale in Springfield on October 25th. In a contest that was literally decided by inches, Brearley edged Dayton, 10-7, to earn a share of the BCC Freedom Gold Division title, and win their 12th out of the last 13 meetings for a 27-9-1 series lead.

Led by the trio of Nathan Charleston, Noah DeJesus, and Sean Christie, East Brunswick surged past Perth Amboy, 35-12, in an NJSIAA Regional Crossover at Waters Stadium in Perth Amboy on October 29th. EB’s victory gave the Bears a 36-10 lead in the all-time series dating back to 1964.

With its 49-31 victory over J.F. Kennedy in an NJSIAA Crossover at The Pit in Carteret on October 29th, Carteret now leads its all-time series with the Mustangs 26-11.
