BCG Somerset County Top Ten – Final 2025

With its state playoff run that included their first-ever sectional championship, the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers claimed the top spot in the final Big Central Gridiron Somerset County Top 10.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – In a topsy-turvy year in Somerset County, it came down to Bridgewater-Raritan’s state tourney run to settle things. The Panthers finished 9-4 overall and won their first-ever sectional championship when they claimed the North Jersey Section 2 Group 5 crown.

The Montgomery Cougars completed an incredible turnaround under first-year head coach, Sean Carty, with the second spot in the final Big Central Gridiron Somerset County Top 10 of 2025. Montgomery finished 8-4 overall, claimed a share of the BCC Liberty Silver division title, and reached the North Jersey Section 2 Group 4 final.

With its win over St. Thomas Aquinas in the opening round of the Non-Public B state playoffs, and a 9-3 overall record, the Immaculata Spartans earned the third spot in the final BCG Somerset County rankings. Ridge, which defeated Bridgewater-Raritan and Hillsborough earlier in the year to finish second in the BCC American Silver division, finished fourth in the final poll.
