Middlesex County Top Ten – September 5, 2023

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – After two weeks of high school football in Middlesex County in 2023, both North Brunswick and Sayreville remain among the top three teams. St. Thomas Aquinas moved up to third after impressive wins over Paul VI of Haddonfield (42-7) and New Providence (41-0). Despite losing its first two games by a total of just four points including a loss in overtime (28-27) last week to Hunterdon Central, Piscataway actually moved up a notch to fifth. Carteret also makes its first appearance in the poll after resounding victories over St. Joseph’s-Hammonton (42-12) and Perth Amboy (42-7). Current records in parenthesis.
