BCG Small School Top Ten – Final 2025

With its run to the 2025 NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 Championship Game, New Providence finished at the top of the final Big Central Gridiron Small School rankings.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Bernards’ reign as the defending three-time BCG Small School Top Ten No. 1 came to an end with its loss to Madison in the opening round of the North Jersey Section 2 Group 2 State Tournament, and New Providence’s run to the North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 Final.

Voorhees, which finished second behind Bernards in the BCC’s Patriot Gold Division standings, qualified for the Central Jersey Group 2 State Tournament, and ended the season at 8-2 to earn the third spot in BCG’s final Small School Top 10. A.L. Johnson, which finished 2nd to New Providence in the Patriot Silver Division, finished fourth in the final poll.

Manville, the only other Group 1 school in the final Small School rankings, ended the season ranked 8th ahead of Spotswood and Metuchen. View BCG’s latest small school rankings below:
