SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The 2025 New Jersey High School Football Season is moving very quickly.  We are now halfway through the season as we enter the month of October with Big Central Conference Football coverage.    Big Central Gridiron has a big slate of games planned for this week, beginning on Friday night.  BCG will take a trip out to DeMarco Stadium at Lombardi Field in Old Bridge to see the Knights take on Morristown in a non-conference clash.

Then, on Saturday, Big Central Gridiron has a tripleheader of varsity games on tap, starting with Belvidere hosting Jonathan Dayton in a BCC crossover at 10:00 AM.  BCG also plans to cover games at all levels.  On Wednesday, Big Central Gridiron covered a Middle School contest between Franklin and Elizabeth, and on Thursday, BCG headed out to Lou Bartha Stadium in Iselin for a freshman football contest between JFK and Scotch Plains-Fanwood.

Only one varsity division game is on tap this week, with Woodbridge taking on Perth Amboy in a neighborhood rivalry match-up out of the Liberty Gold Division.  All the other contests are either crossovers or non-conference match-ups.  Some of the key crossover games include Bridgewater-Raritan hosting Elizabeth, Piscataway hosting Sayreville, Governor Livingston visiting A.L. Johnson, and Rahway traveling to play Cranford.

Outside BCC play, St. Thomas Aquinas hosts Paramus Catholic of the Super Football Conference in North Edison on Friday evening, while West Orange travels to play Phillipsburg in addition to BCG’s game involving Old Bridge and Morristown.  There are no games on Thursday night, but seven on Saturday, and 24 on Friday for a total of 31 contests this week.  So let’s dive in by taking a look at all BCC Week 5 contests on tap.
